About the Estate
With 2 beachfront villas and 8 beachside cottages, The Hideaway can comfortably accommodate 36 overnight guests with double occupancy. Intentionally designed to blend into the lush Caribbean landscape, every aspect of The Hideaway has been crafted to create a barefoot-luxury vibe found nowhere else on the island.
Stay in a villa, and you're just a stone's throw from the beach or a short walk from The Shack, where you can grab a refreshing cocktail and local seafood. Continue on the path towards the second gate, and you'll pass our two-acre farm. Should you decide to stay in one of our cozy cottages, you'll have the pool and pavilion right outside your door!
The Hideaway features a commercially licensed 2 acre beachfront farm that is adjacent to the villas, cottages, and The Shack.
Revitalizing Hull Bay, St. Thomas
On the Northside of St. Thomas sits a tranquil stretch of beach known as Hull Bay, a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Just behind the beach sits The Hideaway, a group travel destination for those looking to get away. Started as a campground and restaurant in the 1970's, the property has been immaculately revitalized and transformed into a luxury beachfront estate, now home to The Hideaway, Hull Bay.

The Hideaway is a private beachfront estate, offering the kind of exclusivity and flexibility that only comes with having a place all to yourself. The property features 18 bedrooms across beachfront villas and cottages, accommodating intimate getaways for 2 or celebrations for up to 36 guests. Each layout offers its own space and sightlines to the water.

The tap water is completely safe to drink (potable and filtered), with additional filtered water stations available at the Pavilion.

The Hideaway is located in Hull Bay on St. Thomas's quieter north shore, about 25 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic). Parking is plentiful and completely free on-site.

St. Thomas enjoys year-round sunny, tropical weather, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s and steady trade winds. The most popular season runs from December through April—the driest months with the most comfortable conditions. May and early June offer excellent weather with fewer crowds. The rainy season spans May through November, peaking in September and October, though showers are typically brief and often arrive overnight. Hurricane season runs June through November; summer months can reach 90°F with higher humidity, so it's worth keeping an eye on forecasts when planning.
