What makes a private event at The Hideaway different? The honest answer starts with seasonal timing. Executive Chef Risa Chu and her team build rotating menus around what’s growing on the farm and the freshest catch from local fishermen, bringing island flavors directly to the table.
Here, private doesn't have to mean formal. Baby showers, milestone birthdays, corporate gatherings, engagement parties, family reunions, weddings…they all have a place. So does a dinner with your favorite people, for no other reason than everyone finally made it to the same island!
The Menu
No two weeks on the farm look exactly alike, so no two private events have to taste exactly alike either. Locally grown vegetables, tropical fruit, herbs, fresh seafood, and island flavors move with what’s in season.

Whether that’s a seated dinner, a cocktail reception, or a larger celebration across the estate, The Hideaway team helps bring the food, drinks, setup, and flow together from planning all the way until the last guest leaves.
The Privacy
The Hideaway is a private estate tucked into Hull Bay on the quiet north side of St. Thomas. We have a two-acre working farm, villas, cottages, a pool, and a pavilion all within our gated property. No hotel lobby. No crazy crowds. Just your people and your special event.
The Sips
Hideaway Farm ingredients and house-made infusions make their way behind the bar too, creating cocktails that taste just as connected to the island as the food. Our farm-to-glass approach has even earned recognition at the USVI Crafted Cocktail Competition.
