A: From the moment we first walked through the gates of The Hideaway, we felt the magic. The estate is absolutely breathtaking. Wandering through the farm, being surrounded by lush greenery, and staying among the cottages and villas with our closest friends and family, it truly felt like paradise. We had the time of our lives.
Q: Even though it rained, what surprised you about how the day unfolded?
A: Honestly, the rain added to the romance. The team handled everything with ease, including a last-minute move of the ceremony to a West Indian-style house up the road. It turned out to be the most intimate setting with magnificent views. One of our favorite memories is taking photos in the rain-soaked gardens behind the house after the ceremony - it was pure magic. Somehow, the Hideaway team even had the most beautiful umbrellas ready for us, which totally elevated the atmosphere. I never imagined I’d love having rain on my wedding day, but I really did.
Q: What did guests rave about most?
A: The setting, without a doubt. Everyone was blown away by the views from every angle, how private and immersive the space felt, and how smoothly everything came together. The food prepared by Chef Risa and the stunning cocktails were massive hits, too! Honestly, there wasn’t a single part of the weekend that our guests didn’t rave about.
Q: If you had to describe your wedding in three words, what would they be?
A: Not exactly three words, but: intimate, magical, and wildly fun.
