A Wedding Weekend That Was Everything We Hoped For
"Best wedding ever!!!! That's actually all we heard from our family and friends for four straight days, and I have to agree."
That's how Lily remembers the weekend her daughter, Amanda, was married at The Hideaway at Hull Bay.

Lily plans events for a living. She knows vendors, timelines, the hundred small things that can unravel a day. This time, she wanted none of that. She was here to be the mother of the bride.
In their own words, here's how they look back on the weekend.
Lily, you mentioned that feeling of peace. When did you realize you could truly let go that weekend?
Lily: "Once you arrive on property a sense of peace comes over you and you just know everything will be amazing. That is exactly how Kas and Ambar in particular made us feel from the moment we first inquired about our destination wedding until the moment we hugged goodbye."
It started with the first call and
held all the way through checkout.
"When Kas tells you to 'trust the process' you need to trust in her and her staff, truly experts...they have this destination wedding thing down to a science.”
Lily: “They had great recommendations to provide to us for vendors that they have worked with well. We used all their recommended vendors and everything worked out so well."
Amanda, looking back now, how would you describe the experience overall?
Amanda: "Everything was beyond perfect! Kas, Ambar, and the team are the absolute best. They are always there whenever you need them with a smile on their face and genuinely want to make sure your big day is perfect!"
For Amanda, no one had to be tracked down.
Nothing had to be managed. She had no worries.
Amanda: "They have gone above and beyond ever since our first call and even two days after the wedding when we were leaving the full estate. They ensured everything ran as smooth as possible and that all of our guests had the best time!"
She was still thinking about it two days later, on the way out.
Amanda: "I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet everyone at the Hideaway and have my dream wedding weekend become a reality. Such an intimate, romantic, special and overall amazing place."
And that feeling didn't leave when the weekend did.
"I will forever be telling everyone to visit the Hideaway and to work with Kas and the team because I couldn't have asked for a better place, better people and a better experience for our special day!"
Looking back, what parts of the day still stay with you most?
Ask either of them what they picture first,
and the answers are the same.
Lily: "The ceremony on the farm, with the mountains in the background was stunning. The reception area on the lawn in the pavilion looked magical especially in the evening with all the beautiful lighting. Everything just blew us away."
Then there was the food.
"The service and food (hors d'oeuvres, Mediterranean buffet, and late-night taco bar) were all fantastic and received rave reviews from our guests. Chef Risa is a master and will help you curate the perfect menu."
And the weekend didn't end with the reception.
Amanda: “We also had a Jazz Brunch the morning after - 110% recommend."
Lily, when you think about the team now, what stands out?
She's worked with enough vendors to know the difference.
Lily": "I cannot give them enough accolades and 'thank you' will never be enough. Kas and her staff are simply phenomenal!!!!"
She noticed everything. The small things added up.
Lily: "They were responsive via e-mail, and did whatever they could to give us the best wedding day possible – one example is helping to customize our bar offerings with signature cocktails and a particular choice of spirits. They cater to your every need and go above and beyond."
That's the thing she keeps coming back to.
"My daughter had the wedding of her dreams in the most magical space. Our wedding at The Hideaway was everything we had hoped for and more!"
